Dr. Clay Carlson
Assistant Professor of Biology, Benedictine University

I am currently serving my second faith-based liberal arts instution in the greater Chicago region.
I started teaching full time in 2010 after finishing a Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin. My wife, Becky, and I have two teenagers, Caleb and Lydia. I love teaching, learning, reading, playing music, hiking, and road tripping. I also run and ride a bike, but not because I love it.
